1. What VialMath is
VialMath is a free arithmetic and record-keeping tool. It does arithmetic on numbers you enter. It does not recommend doses, diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. It is intended only to do arithmetic on numbers you enter and to keep a personal record. It is not a pharmacy or healthcare provider, and it does not sell medication.
2. You are responsible for your inputs and decisions
Always follow your prescriber's and pharmacist's instructions. Confirm any result with them before acting on it. Check units (mg, mcg, mL, units) carefully. If a result doesn't match your instructions, don't use it; ask a professional.
3. Age
You must be 18 or older to use VialMath.
4. Lawful use only
Use VialMath only for medications prescribed for you by a licensed provider and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. Don't use it with products labeled "research use only" or "not for human consumption." VialMath does not endorse or provide information on where to get any substance.
5. No warranty
VialMath is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or availability. We test the math carefully, but software can have errors.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, VialMath and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the tool.
7. Your data
Your log and reminders are stored on your device. You are responsible for backing them up (CSV export). See the Privacy page.
8. Emergencies
VialMath is not for emergencies. If you think you took too much of a medication or feel unwell, call 911 or Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 (U.S.).
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
