How to Track Injections
Updated October 2026 · Educational math explainer, not medical advice.
The numbers below are made-up examples to show the arithmetic. They are not dose suggestions. Always use the dose your prescriber gave you and the instructions from your pharmacist.
A consistent log can make it easier to keep track of what you took and to share your records with your prescriber.
What to log
- Date and time
- Amount as prescribed, plus the units drawn
- Vial concentration and the date you opened or mixed it
- Injection site (if your clinician advises rotating sites)
- Notes to discuss with your prescriber
Keep it private
Use a tool that stores data privately. VialMath’s dose log is a record-keeping tool only. It never suggests doses or changes.
